Real tuneability for Fuel Injected Engines! For many years, riders with carbureted engines have had the luxury of easy fine-tuning. By changing carburetor jets they could “dial in” their engines to achieve maximum performance and to compensate for engine modifications. Fuel injection however, has presented a tuning obstacle for riders who wished to make performance modifications to their engines. With the stock fuel injection module, even a minor change like a different exhaust system can cause an engine to run erratically and could potentially cause engine damage. The S&S Variable Fuel Injection (VFI) module provides the ability to tune the fuel injection and ignition systems to maximize the performance of any fuel injected engine. While the S&S VFI system will give excellent results on stock engines, its tuning flexibility is essential when engine modifications have been made. Changes to the engine such as cams, exhaust pipes, headwork, increased displacement, or all of the above, necessitate changes in the fuel injection maps. The S&S VFI fuel injection module allows the tuner to realize the full benefits of engine modifications through correct tuning. Re-tuning the system with the S&S VFI module will result in improved starting, better driveability, and more power.
S&S Variable Fuel Injection (VFI) Module Features:
